Today at the Old Bailey in London, the long awaited Proceeds of Crime hearing into McCormick's ill gotten gains was finalised. The result is that he has to pay into court, within three months, £7.9 million worth of cash and assets.
This shows how toothless the Proceeds of Crime Act is, the police estimated his total financial gain to be £21.3 million, so he walks away with £13.4 million, where is the justice in that?
Great news reaches us from Germany, at long, long last they have taken action against the fraudsters, Dave and Frank known as, Unival, maker and seller of the scam device the HEDD1. Followers of my blog will recognise this from our long running battle with these two scammers on previous posts, now the German authorities have arrested and charged them with, 47 offences, let's hope the eventual sentences reflect those dished out to our home grown fraudsters, McCormick and Bolton.
Below is the link to the marketing video for the fraudulent HEDD1, see it now before it gets removed:
James McCormick, the Somerset businessman who sold fake bomb detectors to Iraq that were in fact golf ball finders, has lost his appeal against his sentence at the Court of Appeal

His application for leave to appeal against the sentence imposed at the Old Bailey earlier this year was thrown out by Lord Justice Davis, Mr Justice Nicol and the Recorder of Chester, Judge Elgan Edwards.

McCormick, a former policeman and salesman who was found guilty of three offences of fraud, was thought to have made £50 million from selling three models based on a novelty £13 golf ball finder to Iraq and other countries.

Giving the ruling of the court today, Judge Edwards said of the “callous confidence trick” carried out by McCormick: “The circumstances were quite appalling. The applicant knew precisely what he was doing.

“He did it for enormous profit and that conduct simply cannot and will not be tolerated.”

At the Old Bailey, Judge Richard Hone told McCormick, when imposing the maximum sentence: “I am wholly satisfied that your fraudulent conduct in selling so many useless devices for simply enormous profit promoted a false sense of security and in all probability materially contributed to causing death and injury to innocent individuals.”

The prosecution said there was no scientific basis to the detectors and they were nothing more than a con.

Judge Hone told McCormick: ”What you perpetrated was a callous confidence trick. The device was useless, the profit outrageous and your culpability as a fraudster has to be placed in the highest category.

”Your profits were obscene. You have neither insight, shame or any sense of remorse.”

The judge said McCormick had shown a ”cavalier disregard of the potentially fatal consequences” of his con.

McCormick, who until the end continued to maintain the detectors worked, is facing a confiscation hearing to recover millions of pounds.

He is believed to have sold 6,000 of his fake detectors to Iraq and 1,000 to other police and military forces including United Nations peacekeepers in Lebanon.

A Kent businessman who made up to £3m a year from the sale of fake bomb detectors around the world has been jailed for seven years by a judge at the Old Bailey.

Gary Bolton, 47, hawked the bogus kit to military and police clients in countries including Mexico, Thailand, Pakistan, China, India, the Philippines, Singapore, Egypt and Tunisia despite it being based on a novelty golf ball finder.

The devices cost as little as £1.82 to make and were sold for as much as £15,000. They remain in use in Thailand, where human rights campaigners claim they have cost lives, and were only abandoned by Mexican agencies in 2011.

Sentencing him on two counts of making and selling an article for use in fraud over a period of five years, Mr Justice Hone said: "The culpability and harm of what you were doing is at the highest level because when used for the detection of explosives, in my judgment the use of the GT200, albeit in conjunction with other detectors, did materially increase the risk of personal injury and death."
Human rights campaigners in Thailand, where the devices were widely used by the army and police, have identified two fatal bombings that killed four people and injured more after the device was used to check suspicious vehicles.

Bolton's sentence follows that of his former business partner Jim McCormick, who was jailed for 10 years in May for selling around £50m worth of similar devices, many to postwar Iraq where their use is thought to have cost lives.

Speaking in mitigation, Jonathan Higgs QC said Bolton had three children, including a eight-month-old baby, and had been diagnosed with depression.

The court heard that branches of the UK government had offered some support to Bolton's enterprise, called Global Technical. They include UKTI, Whitehall's export sales arm, and the British embassy in Mexico, which from 2005 to 2009 offered support though introductions to potential clients and allowed Bolton's firm to use its premises for demonstrations.

"You have damaged the reputation of British trade abroad, having duped UKTI and other agencies dedicated to supporting the export of quality British goods as opposed to the dross that you manufactured," said the judge.

The jury heard that Bolton's devices were "nothing more than a box with a handle and antennae attached to it and pieces of plastic inside it".

The charges related to a period from 2007 to 2012, but Bolton began marketing the device in 2000 demonstrating it in Malta, Egypt, Uganda and South Africa.

In 1999 the Royal Engineers exports support team tested a version of the invention, at Bolton's request, but the army unit found it to be accurate only around 30% of the time, the court heard.
Bolton went on to doctor the reports to make them appear a clear vindication of the science he claimed was behind the device. A version of the report, seen by the Guardian, claims the detector "looks for the atomic structure of the substance and once located locks on giving its location". It "operates by the generation of static electricity within the body, which sets up a field around the searcher, activating the unit and making it attract to the substance".

Bolton claimed that his detectors worked with a range of 766 yards at ground level and from as far as 2.5 miles in the air and said they were effective through lead-lined and metal walls, water, containers and earth.

Bolton's sales pitch boasted of detecting explosives, narcotics, ivory, tobacco and even money. The prosecutor Richard Whittam QC told the jury when arrested in July 2012 Bolton "said he had no background in science, research, training or specifically security". During the trial Bolton called in his defence an expert in dowsing, a method of "divining" for water using sticks.

It has taken more than 16 years for the law to catch up with Bolton. Tests in 2001 proved the detectors performed no better than random in searches for explosives.
On Friday the 26th of July, a jury at the Old Bailey convicted, Gary Bolton of fraud. As readers will know Bolton is another swivel stick explosives detector salesman. I suppose it would be the height of irony if he was to share a cell with his fellow fraudster, McCormick.
Anyway, on to the title of this post, one of the defining moments in McCormick's trial came when it was revealed that McCormick's detectors were based on nothing more than a novelty golf ball finder, and so it was with Bolton, read the extract from the trial below:

"One of these witnesses was Mr. Geoffrey Crockford, who had also provided Mr. Bolton with the concept of dia-and para-magnetism as an explanation for the operating principle for his substance detection device. When cross-examined under oath by Mr. Richard Whittam QC about his theory of bio location using a sixth, magnetic, human sense, Mr. Crockford explained how he had in 2012 successfully used dowsing to prove retrospectively, a UFO visit by Galactic Intelligent Life-Forms (GILFs) to Rendlesham Forest in Suffolk, UK, Earth, in 1980."
This is what the thieving ex MP Margaret Moran claimed when she got caught, sadly in her case the court fell for it. Like Moran, it appears Bolton's PTSD came on him after he had been caught, surprisingly there was no sign of this supposed illness when he was jetting around the world first class with his girlfriend. Let us hope that Mr Justice Hone sees right through this cynical attempt to avoid the full consequences of Bolton's crime and, like McCormick gives Bolton the maximum sentence allowed by law.

Over at my friend Peter's blog (http://ade651gt200scamfraud.blogspot.co.uk/) the supporters of the fallen ADE651 still refuse to believe the real evidence. They are polluting his blog with snippets of anecdotal evidence from the trial of their hero McCormick, currently enjoying 10 years at Her Majesty's pleasure.
We have added it to the copious amounts previously submitted by, <strike>fools and mugs the world over, </strike>sorry 'users' and of course we are giving it our full attention, see below:

As I said, they are cherry picking bits of anecdotal evidence from the trial and using it as evidence that the ADE651 works, they have forgotten some important points so I will remind them, what about the Golf Ball Finder scam, you know where McCormick ordered hundreds of them from America then simply re-badged them as, 'explosive detectors', how do you get round that point?
What about the 12 INDEPENDENT people on the jury who heard ALL the evidence anecdotal and real, and came to the unanimous verdict that the ADE651 was a fraud and that, McCormick was guilty of that fraud?
What about, Mr Justice Hone, the judge, who having heard all the evidence, read all the reports gave McCormick 10 years in jail, the maximum allowed by law, doesn't seem much doubt in his mind does there?
Anyway I'm bored with these idiots now, I have to rush I'm going for a drink with my good friend, Elvis.
COCAINE TORCH

Yes, you read that correctly, the picture above shows a Merseyside Police Officer with their latest tool to combat cocaine within the city, read the press release below from the, Liverpool Echo dated the, 6th March 2013:

"Ground-breaking £40 cocaine torch rolled out to find drug-taking clubbers in Liverpool"

A REVOLUTIONARY £40 torch that sniffs out cocaine-fuelled clubbers is being rolled out at city nightspots as part of a huge drugs crackdown.
The scheme will target drug abusers who try to get into Liverpool’s busiest bars and clubs.
The ultra-violet torch, which makes tiny particles of cocaine appear bright green, will be shone in clubbers’ faces by door staff. The devices make it easy to spot the faintest traces – even remnants of powder on nasal hairs.
Police last weekend issued torches to city centre bars free of charge in a bid to combat the scourge of cocaine use.
Street prices have plummeted in Liverpool in recent years, with a gram of the Class-A drug obtainable for as little as £30.
City centre-based Inspector Mark Lawes told the ECHO: “The torches will be used by door staff as a condition of entry and will show if someone has cocaine present on their skin.
“If the torch shows that cocaine is present, staff will turn them away.
“The city’s licensees have already got on board with this latest initiative, and in the first weekend alone 40 bars used the torch.
“Research has shown that we see increased violence when people use cocaine and alcohol, and early indications show violence reduced over the first weekend of the campaign.”
The devices, purchased through funding from Liverpool primary care trusts, have been greeted with enthusiasm by bar owners in Concert Square, an area of the city centre particularly afflicted by cocaine.
Jonathan Boucher, who owns popular boutique club Allure and sits on a committee of Concert Square bars and clubs, said: “I think it is a great thing.
“There’s no denying that the city has got a problem with cocaine, especially in Concert Square.
“You can see the aggression from people who are on cocaine, there is a lack of respect to the authorities, not just police but door staff as well.
“Cocaine turns clubbers into Jekyll and Hyde characters.
“On the evening they want to kill everyone, the next day they can’t be more apologetic.
“It is not nice for staff. These torches will be a great deterrent.”
Police hope the torches will eventually be taken up by all bars and clubs in the Ropewalks, Gay Quarter and Albert Dock areas.
Officers have been visiting bar owners to show them how to use the device.
Inspector Lawes said: “We are committed to maximising the use of new technology and this is just one tactic used to address issues of drug and alcohol related violence.
“Officers will continue to use cocaine spot-checks in the city alongside passive drug dogs and mobile policing units out to catch the minority intent on using drugs.
“By joining forces with licensees and partners, we aim to keep our bars, pubs and clubs safe.”

This is all well and good, but isn't there just a hint of the ADE651 believers talk in this story, and what about the boundless enthusiasm by the Police?

The other problem to put a dent in all of this, and it's a big problem, like the ADE651 the cocaine torch, DOES NOT WORK. Many of the comments that I have read about the ADE651 scam was, "why didn't they test them"? Perhaps Merseyside Police should have done the same, see below:

Headline and report from the, BBC Newsbeat Team:

"Drug torches for bouncers 'don't spot cocaine'"

Merseyside Police have purchased dozens of the devices and given them to bars
and clubs in Liverpool city centre.

They are encouraging door staff to shine the lights on customers' faces to
detect traces of cocaine.
The force says the torches are just one tactic being used to address
drug-related violence.
Newsbeat first reported on similar torches in 2009, when they were being used
by other police forces.

Home Office scientists later produced a report which said they shouldn't be
used as a basis for arrest, but may act as a useful deterrent.
'Jedi weapon'

Newsbeat joined officers on a Friday evening in Liverpool.

Inspector Ian Humphreys, responsible for policing the city centre, said the
torches had been well received.
"Licensees and door staff have picked them up and run with them," he
said.
"Some are using them as a condition of entry which is a good thing."

THE TEST

(For the video showing this test go to: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/22891975)

Newsbeat took a torch to toxicologist John Ramsey at St George's University
in London.
His company TICTAC Communications produces a drugs database, which is used by
police forces.

In a dark room, John shone the torch on five cocaine samples:

Three from drug amnesty bins

One seized by the UK Border Agency

One of 100% pure cocaine hydrochloride

None of the samples "fluoresced" under the torch.

John Ramsey said: "There is really no point trying to use UV torches to
detect cocaine use - they just don't work."

Liverpool North Superintendent Mark Wiggins said: "Any tool that makes people
think twice about using cocaine in a busy city centre, and therefore reducing
violence, has got to be an additional benefit to what is already a robust
policing plan. (The old placebo defence to what turns out to be a crock of shit)

"The use of the torches also underlies the force's commitment to work in
partnership with responsible bar and club owners and fully licensed door staff,
in order to maintain the safety of the public and to ensure Liverpool is one of
the safest cities in the country." (How can something that has been proven not to work help maintain the safety of the public?)

The ultra-violet torches are sold by British several companies for a variety
of reasons.

One of them, JNE Marketing, describes it as the "cocaine torch" on its
website.

Nick Hughes from JNE said: "We have always sold our UV torch as a
multifunction torch as it has numerous uses such as identifying Smartwater,
counterfeit currency, UV markings, security features on credit cards, forensic
evidence and drug detection (Holy shit Batman this has undertones of the ADE651)."

Can we expect the early arrest of, Nick Hughes from JNE for Fraud by Misrepresentation, or will Merseyside Police embarrassment at having been scammed prevent him having to stand trial? I big sorry to all the people that said to me, "AT LEAST IT COULD NEVER HAPPEN HERE"!
We are hearing rumours that with things not going as hoped for at McCormick's trial, he is feeling somewhat depressed. We at the campaign are of course concerned about this so we are sending McCormick some certified, 'homeopathic happy pills'. They have been tried and tested at least a thousand times by the nutty professor from Romania, (courtesy of Mira-Telecom) he states,

"Since the conclusion of the trial I have taken these pills over a thousand times and can state quite categorically that they work. I have never been so happy as I have since the end of the trial, and that has nothing at all to do with how my bank balance now looks, and everything to do with the homeopathic happy pills".

So there you have it, what more evidence do you need? Conventional medicine and science says the homeopathic happy pills are, 'a crock of shit and could never work', but as McCormick knows, all you need to have is belief, so start taking them immediately on receipt and let us know how you get on.
Below is a picture of the pills so the prison authorities can look out for them and get them to McCormick straight away!
The trial has started, this report from a local (UK) newspaper:

"A British businessman imported novelty golf-ball finders and used the design to develop expensive devices that he claimed could detect explosives and drugs, the Old Bailey has heard.
James McCormick, who worked from a cramped office in Somerset, sold the devices to countries around the world, including Iraq, for as much as $40,000 each, it is alleged.
His publicity material claimed the devices could detect minuscule samples of explosives, class A drugs, ivory and human beings at a distance of up to 1km at ground level and from a plane flying 5km high.
They could even pick up the target substance if it was up to 30 metres underwater or 10 metres underground and a trace of explosive or narcotic weighing a billionth of the weight of a strand of hair could be detected, according to McCormick's material.
But, opening the case, Richard Whittam QC told the jury that the claims were "simply fantastic … incredible". He said: "These devices did not work and he knew they did not work. He had them manufactured so they could be sold for a handsome, unwarranted profit."
Whittam said the devices McCormick is charged over – the ADE 101, ADE 650 and ADE 651 – had been examined by experts who had concluded they lacked "any grounding in science".
The barrister told the jury that in 2005 and 2006 McCormick bought 300 novelty Golfinders from the US. The vendors there emphasised they were "fun" gadgets.
When police were investigating McCormick they got hold of a similar device, a Gopher golf-ball finder costing $18.99, and compared it to a McCormick product called the ADE 100 – a predecessor to the ADE 101.
Whittam said the stipple pattern and even blemishes on the Gopher matched those found on ADE 100s they had seized from McCormick. Whittam said they had come from the same mould.
The jury was told that McCormick had versions of the ADE 100 and ADE 101 made by manufacturers in the UK. He then developed bigger versions that he termed the ADE 650 and 651. In 2007 he told one supplier he had just obtained a "large contract" with the Iraqi government.
The devices comprise a plastic handle fitted with a retractable antenna.
The handle is connected via a wire to a pouch. In the pouch is a card that is said to encode information about the substance to be detected. McCormick claimed the device was powered by static electricity emanating from the user.
Whittam told the jury that McCormick told manufacturers in the UK that he wanted something with a "weighty" handle. The barrister said the device came with an "impressive hard container" designed to "add credibility".
The jury examined publicity material in which the apparent advantages of using McCormick's devices were set out. It claimed that unlike other detectors, the great advantage was that the device did not need to be in physical contact with the target substance.
It said the product could be used at airports, embassies, by the military and government, at nuclear plants, "high-security events" and at police stations and prisons. It claimed it was able to bypass "all known forms of concealment". Explosives that could be detected, according to the publicity material, included TNT and Semtex.
Whittam told the jury that even if it did work as advertised it would not be effective as it would be too sensitive to be of any use. But the barrister said scientists would explain to the jury why they believed it did not work.
McCormick, 56, denies three counts of fraud. The trial continues"

Well I suppose it was inevitable, the ADE651 meets Faith Healing. After these devices have claimed to detect everything from, drugs, explosives, to ivory, I suppose the next step was medical disease, well the Egyptians have done just that, spot the similarities with other known devices.
High Ranking Army Officer involved, swinging antenna, the mention of electro-magnetic system, where have we heard these things mentioned together before?
I have reproduced some parts of an article that appeared in, The Guardian newspaper (UK) on the 25th of February this year:

For a start, it was adapted from a bomb detector used by the Egyptian army. Second, it looked like the antenna for a car radio. Third, and most bizarrely, it could – the doctor claimed – remotely detect the presence of liver disease in patients sitting several feet away, within seconds.

Witnessed in various contexts by the Guardian, the prototype operates like a mechanical divining rod – though there are digital versions. It appears to swing towards people who suffer from hepatitis C, remaining motionless in the presence of those who don't. Shiha claimed the movement of the rod was sparked by the presence of a specific electromagnetic frequency that emanates from a certain strain of hepatitis C.

The device was conceived by Brigadier Ahmed Amien, an engineer and bomb detection expert who built it with a 60-strong team from the Egyptian army's engineering department.
(There is the answer to the question I posed in the title, it took 60 Egyptian Army Engineers to construct, what two people with absolutely no scientific or engineering training whatsoever made in about 10 minutes)

Amien discovered that he could use his lifelong specialism – bomb detection – to remotely detect diseases.

Two years on, Shiha hopes that C-Fast will be the realisation of this dream. It has been trialled in 1,600 cases in Egypt, India and Pakistan, and Shiha says it has never failed to detect a positive case – though in 2% of cases it perceived hepatitis where there was in fact none.

This means that the scanner would not entirely eliminate the need for blood tests. But it could allow doctors to use blood tests only in instances where the scanner found a positive result.
(Another similarity, remember the ADE651 and GT200, "this is just a first response tool" then when you get an indication you can use more specialised equipment".)

"If the application can be expanded, it is actually a revolution in medicine," said Pinzani, head of UCL's liver institute. "It means that you can detect any problem you want."
(Like drugs, explosives or ivory you mean? Oh, forgot someone has already done those)

Amien said he was exploring the possibility of using C-Fast to screen for hepatitis B, syphilis and HIV.
(Probably need to develop special cards for each disease, don't forget your anti-theft tag in each one that really helps)

Previously explored as a theory but never proven in practice, the technique used by the scanner is known as distant electromagnetic cell communication. But it is viewed sceptically by most mainstream scientists, who hold that cells can only communicate through physical contact.
(And anyone else with half a brain cell in their head)

Shiha said he understood why scientists were so reluctant to trust Amien's device. "As a reviewer myself, if I had this paper for review, I would reject it," he said. "I would ask for more evidence. It's good to be thorough. We have to be cautious."

This nonsense in full can be found at the link:

We are somewhat surprised to see that Mira-Telecom in Romania, have failed to learn lessons from their past association with the, ADE651.
It now transpires they have flogged a, "Number of heartbeat detection devices to the, Ministry of Administration and Interior and the, General Inspectorate of Border Police (Romania)".
Sadly, for Mira-Telecom and perhaps even worse for the end users, this device is a SCAM. This device is the totally discredited, DKL Lifeguard, see below for a member of staff from, Mira-Telecom giving a sales demonstration of the DKL to some potenial <strike>mugs</strike> customers!

Now, had Mira-Telecom carried out some due dilligence and consulted that well known clue giver, GOOGLE, like me they would have found the report from the experts at, Sandia Labs, USA which totally slams the claims made by DKL and lists it as a (sorry Mira-Telecom) another fraud!
A FOND FAREWELL TO CHUCKIE (H3Tec)
It would seem that another swinging arm fraudster has jumped before Law Enforcement feels his collar, all wave goodbye to, 'Chuckie' Christensen of H3Tec fame.
At least it is one less fraud putting lives at risk.
First, McCormick arrested and charged. Appeared in Court this morning, NO BAIL, remanded to prison, I bet the room service is not what he is used to!

On an even better note, if possible, Gary Bolton has been arrested and charged, see the info from the City of London Police website, reprinted below:

"Five charged by Overseas Anti Corruption Unit (OACU)

On 11 July detectives from the force's Overseas Anti-Corruption Unit (OACU) charged Joan Tree, 60, and Sam Tree, 65, from Bedfordshire, Anthony Williamson, 57, from Hampshire, Gary Bolton, 46, from Kent and Simon Sherrard, 49, from North West London with various Fraud Act offences. All the accused were released on bail and are due to appear at City of London Magistrates on 18 July.

The charges, following consultation with and advice from the Crown Prosecution Service, relate to a long term parallel investigation with Avon and Somerset Constabulary regarding the manufacture, promotion and sale of a range of fraudulent substance detector devices to foreign jurisdictions between 15 January 2007 and 12 July 2012.

The details of the charges are:

Gary Bolton faces two counts contrary to sections 2 and 7 of the Fraud Act 2006, relating to a device called ‘GT200’, which it is alleged was dishonestly represented as capable of detecting explosives.

Samuel Tree, Joan Tree, and Simon Sherrard have each been charged with one count contrary to Section 7 of the Fraud Act 2006, involving an ‘Alpha 6’ substance detection device.

Anthony Williamson faces the same charge in relation to an ‘XK9’ device.

Simon Sherrard faces an additional count contrary to Section 6 of the Fraud Act 2006 for possession of an Alpha 6 substance detection device for use in a fraud.

On July 11 Avon and Somerset Constabulary charged James McCormick with three counts contrary to section 6 and three counts contrary to section 7 of the Fraud Act 2006, relating to three devices, known as ‘ADE 101’, ‘ADE 650’ and ‘ADE 651’. He appears before City of London Magistrates on July 12."

This is going to be one hell of a story as it unfolds in court. Due to the law in the UK we are now limited as to what we can say about the case so that it does not prejudice the case against the defendants, we can repeat what is given in evidence and will attempt to give a blow by blow account as it happens.

Don't suppose we will see, Stelian Ilie or General Giorgio coming over to give evidence in support of their former business partner?

Finally, I more than most have been critical of the police efforts over the years in relation to these cases, I would just like to say here and now, a bloody well done to all the cops involved in bringing this about.

regards
Great news McCormick has been finally been charged after a long investigation, see the release below:

Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed that a 56-year-old man, who lives in Somerset, will face six charges under the Fraud Act (2006)

The decision to charge James McCormick from Langport, follows consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service's Central Fraud Division..

The charging decision follows a complex 30(!)-month international investigation led by Avon and Somerset Police.

Mr McCormick will appear at the City of London Magistrates' Court, Queen Victoria Street, London tomorrow Thursday July 12 2012
He will face six charges:

1 James William McCormick, between 15 January 2007 and 12 July 2012, had in his possession or under his control an article for use in the course of or in connection with a fraud, namely an ADE 101 device. Contrary to section 6 Fraud Act 2006

In his latest bit of company promotion on Youtube, "not so honest General (retd.) Georgiou" of ProSec of Beirut, displays some of the counter equipment sold by his company. But, he and his son (who also makes a guest appearance) seem to have completely forgotten to mention the device which made him millions in Iraq, the ADE651, responsible for so many deaths I have lost count. Mind you those cases look familiar, maybe he had a load of spare ADE651 cases left over from cancelled orders.
Even more annoying it is actually promoted by the BBC!!!

This piece is about what apparently concerns the powers that be in the United Kingdom. I will endeavour to show how our rulers and masters, and the prosecuting authorities look upon different criminal offences in this country.

1) Attempting to pervert the cause of justice.
This is a serious offence, but let us look at one current prosecution for this offence. In 2003 (Yes you read that right, 2003) A former Member of the European Parliament, Chris Huhne was, allegedly, flashed by a speed camera in Essex. It is alleged to save getting points on his licence, he persuaded his then wife to take the penalty on his behalf. This came to the attention of the Police in 2010. An extensive investigation was conducted, mobile telephones were seized, as were emails, and the Police even applied to the court for a newspaper to hand over an alleged incriminating recorded telephone conversation. Nearly 12 months later, the decission to prosecute Huhne and his wife was announced by no less a person than the head of the Crown Prosecution Service himself, the announcement was made to a packed room full of the countries press. This was breaking news on Sky and the BBC. Is this what happens to a ordinary citizen suspected off the same offence? No. Has anybody been killed in relation to this offence? No. Has anybody lost any money as a result of this offence? No.

2) Interception of communications.
Another serious offence. There is a story that has been headline news over a period of nearly 12 months now and is known as the, 'phone hacking scandal'. The background to the story is that some rogue journalists have 'hacked' into some peoples voicemails. It is easily done and does not require me to explain here. However, some of the victims have been quite high profile in the world of politics and show business, it has even been suggested some royal family members may have been victims. One of the more senior politicians caught up in this saga was former Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott, now Lord Prescott. Prescott is a bumbling bufoon who probably couldn't even spell voicemail, but despite his high office and having access to some of the nations top secrets, he was also the subject of close personal protection by the police, it would appear that he did not have the sense to change his default PIN number, nor it would seem did any of his very expensive security people suggest this to him. The result was that thankfully only journalists intercepted his voicemails and not terrorists!
Unbelievebly, there are 171 detectives on this investigation, we have also had 2 parliamentary investigations and there is currently an enquiry being held by a high court judge. Has anyone been killed as a result of this offence? No. Has anyone lost any money as a result of this offence? No. But because it involves politicians and celebrities the authorities go completely over the top.

3) Fraud by misrepresentation.
Again another serious offence. This one involves a bit of plastic with a swivelling antenna that pretends to be a bomb detector. It has been sold the world over to every corrupt tin pot regime there is. Other articles in this blog give the method and scope of sales so there is no need to repeat that here. But this serious fraud has had nowhere near the same publicity the other two incidents I have named. It also has nowhere near the same resources applied to it as the other incidents, but here is were it really differs. Over 300 hundred people have lost their lives as a direct result of this fraud in Iraq alone. The Iraqis have also been swindled out of $85,000,000 I suppose what this fraud lacks is the celebrity factor, had this fraud killed a politician or movie star then it would be taken far more seriously, as it happens it is just killing ordinary citizens so is not as important as the other two incidents. I truly despair.
One of the most ardent campaigners against the ADE651 fraud is our masked mystery friend, 'Hoppy'. Recently he was seen outside the home of the fraudster-in-chief, McCormick 'inventor' of the ADE651.
It just so happens that Clinton Rogers of the BBC was passing at the same time, see the video for what happened:

In the video McCormick asks the question, "WHAT CAN I SAY", the word sorry springs to mind, perhaps to all the relatives of over 300 lost lives in Iraq.

There is such a remarkable likeness between Colin Port, the Chief Constable of Avon and Somerset the force investigating the activities of Jim McCormick, and Jim McCormick himself, that they must be related. See below and let me know what you think.
