But well done to Clinton Rogers of BBC Somerset for getting the recently media shy Colin Port of Avon and Somerset to be interviewed on what is looking increasingly like a potential cock up case by them and the CPS. Remember Colin Port is the man who allowed his wife to be a highly paid Director/Consultant to South West One while he was Director (which was of course anyway a direct conflict of interest with his role as Chief Constable of Avon and Somerset given the contradictions of loyalty the two roles entailed). Also that he used public money to try to get Carter Ruck Solicitors to shut the press up. Or that he had messed up a major muder imvestigation in Northern Ireland a while back.
Or perhaps he just needed to try to shut up the clamour of the South West One and Chris Jeffries cases by going on telly to tell everyone he has it all under control? Really Colin! Remember when you arrested the wrong man!! Under control. Well prove it!!
